Cars or Bikes??

right, bikes vs cars...which do you prefer..

i have to say bikes, there is no way a car can beat the pure thrill of going 100mph down the A16 with all that power between your legs, the sheer thrill outways any benefit of a car in my eyes.

i have to say bikes while yes you get wet if it rains and if you come off you're gonna get hurt bikes sound good without tweaking they are fast they beat any traffic and so long as you dont be a knob (like i was) you will enjoy it and not get shafted on insurance

As much as I see the point of a car, and I learned to drive in LDVs/4X4s offroad, I do prefer bikes. Ok, during wintwer when it's pissing down or -5 outside then it gets tedious, but at the end of the day mu fuel tank costs max £15 to fill and will go around 150 miles to a tank. I could probably get it to go more, depending on what my speeds/journey entails. I could never do that in a car - the cost of fuel plus getting caught in traffic more would render owning a car way out of budget for me. Then there's the higher costs of insurance and road tax. My road tax is £35 and insurance is about £300. I had an insurance quote for an old 1990's Land Rover, and was quoted £1500 for the year, with tax now around £200 a year. No thanks...
